#51 Nobody Has Changed Their Ways
When I First heard mention of the Corona Virus ,I was scared, I began to call everyone of my Church members to share with info on the virus. In early March. I self-quarantine. I was unable to keep anything on my stomach and i couldn’t sleep. I thought this was a suicide mission for those that lived in the heart of Boynton because they aren’t adhering to the order set forth by the City or County to protect your face…No One wears facial protection on my street. Nobody has changed their ways.It will die down> Hopefully,we will come out of this alrightOur Leaders numbers are down,So America has to come back up!She will get food assistance from Helping Hands.
#52 ‘she doesn’t Like Being Alone
In Georgia,I have had ten of my cousin’s transition as a result of the Corona Virus. She is very panicky about her Great-Granddaughter,Imani,going outside. She has become very over-protective of her loved ones And she doesn’t like being alone as noted by her Granddaughter.Although, I am not employed . She likes coming to my home daily and that is fine!.

I work in assisted living facility as a dining services manager. I had flu like symptoms but was forced to stay home for two weeks without pay because of the threat of coronavirus. I am still grappling the effects of not working for two weeks.
#Tellyourstorypbc (Story #249)
The corona virus has essentially ruined my senior year. It took away my opportunity to walk across the stage, attend my prom, and my senior trip. I also recently lost my job due to the corona virus as well.

At my home,we have been preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. My house is petrified of the effects of this Virus. we are confined only to the perimeters of our home. In February,we made sure that my daughter (who lives elsewhere),Mother-in-Law and Nephews were taking care of with all the cleansers, disinfects, and supplies needed for a pandemic as discussed with us by my brother-in-law that lives in England.Remember our national leader says that this is a HOAX.

This is terrible at my age (81 yrs old). Our national leader spent a month talking about it was a democratic hoax. We miss our meals because that was only time we went out. We got food today at the Mall. from FSF
Gratitude Amidst Chaos
As a State employee, it has been quite disorienting. I’ve begun working remotely, faced the stress of many technical issues while trying to process and respond to various incident reports of those with special needs – from covid-19 cases, deaths, elopements, behavior issues, and incidents that are unspeakable as well. Alone. No colleagues to turn around and vent to, a usually very accessible boss is now over her eyeballs with communications with State and Legislature officials. My church family as I affectionately call them, as they serve as a bigger support system than my blood family, we are no longer congregating in person. My parents lost their jobs so my mind is full of worry for their wellbeing. One of my best friends, a preschool teacher at our church… because her dad’s cancer is so aggressive now, the doctor has asked her to move out of her parents house immediately for at least 6 months. I feel helpless because my 450 sqft, one bedroom tiny house that I’m renting cannot accommodate. There’s also the issue of careless neighbors who party loudly all night because they’re out of work now as well. Still, through it all I am beyond grateful for my job, for my health, for enough provisions in my home, running water and power and wifi, for the company of my wonderful dog, and most of all for my God who gives me so much peace when I need it most and in the midst of chaos.
#46 All of Sudden It came up in Our face
As for me and my house,we will adhere to all rules for the safety of our family. I don’t have the opportunity.to fellowship.socialize and attend events like I use to.It appears that all at once the Virus came up in our face.. This started and we just didn’t know all the details and still don’t !It will get better!God will carry us through and HE willshield and keep us!
#37 I have A Lung Disease
This lady is 82 yrs old. She lives alone. The Virus has affected her because she has a rare lung disease for 17 yrs. So,She is forbidden from going out. I am going to the grocery store for her on Saturday. This Virus is a problem with not knowing if you have it! She is not optimist when this pandemic will be over. Her neighbors are having parties. Otherwise, this is how the virus tends to spread.
