I am erma christie turning 90 years old on august 20th. I am a native of the caribbeans. She is a stern, dignified elder and proud christian lady of jamaica.she is a wealth of knowledge. There are no hardship for the younger generation. They are so accustomed to having too much. It’s a burden to the government and a health risk to the elderly(covid19). The young people are troubling with their carefree attitudes and again we suffer, now with those attitudes, everybody literally has the virus! The schools want be able to teach all children. They will be uneducated and not properly able to express themselves.
Concern: My child's education

Living through Covid
Covid has impacted my life a lot just from the cut down of work and trying to support two babies on my own my 1yr old was supposed to start school but it has been pushed back due to the virus and the school being closed so I had to pay a sitter to watch them their grandmother try to help me with them but shes on dialysis and she cant keep them as often. Im a single mother whos kids fathers was indicted just before this whole pandemic thing got out of hand he was a big help with the kids but once he was taking into custody it was just me Ive been working to support my family as much as I can but once this pandemic rolled out I couldnt do much and than I had the baby which my job doesnt pay maternity leave so money that I had saved went towards my bill which forced me to go back to work earlier than what I should have been even with me having a C section and even than it was limited hours due to me working in a restaurant.
Corona (Story #910)
Hello my name is Michelle Rhoden since Corona had came along I had been forced to leave my job to watch my grand baby my husband work all day and he manage to pay all bills for the house due to me having no income coming in I have a hard time paying for things that we need for the house baby clothes and diapers. I would love to be able to help my husband out for our household I have no help from my daughter whats so ever.
surviving covid-19
The corona has impacted me and my family because my husband hours was cut less money coming in to help pay for bills and financial payments. I was also in school to get my high school diploma but due to the virus i needed to lay off from school
Living between homes while taking care of family.
I live in a single family home. I had to move my mother in with me due to her lease being up during the covi-19. We have been unable to find a new place for because of the coco-19 which has caused our area to be closed to a number of months. Our Realitor was closed as well as any office businesses for apt complexes. Because I had to move in my mother, I am now living between two homes due to the lack of space in my single family, already over crowded home. My husband stays with his mother and just so we can have some type of life, I spend partial time there and partial time home.
1 (Story #879)
It has impacted me in ways of not able to work, due to no school so therefore no one to keep my son while i work.
Let it stop
I cant believe how long this has been going on. Im ok I go where I need to. The only thing I really concerned with, is when the open up the beaches again. I just hope that number doesnt go any higher.

#who cares
First of all its frustrating being afraid to go outside. People are still not wearing masks. I try my best to make it back before 11:30 ,but I cant do that with all this black lives matter stuff. People just dont care anymore.
